Ingredients

  • 6 sesame seed hamburger buns
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 medium can mushroom pieces
  • 1 can artichoke hearts
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pepper
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 6 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices crispy bacon
  • 6 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Butter the hamburger buns and grill the bottoms.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on the tops of the buns.
  3. Drain the mushroom pieces and chop the artichoke hearts.
  4. Combine the mushrooms, artichoke hearts, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Cook the mixture in 2 tablespoons of butter for 5 minutes.
  6. Spoon the cooked mixture onto the bottoms of the buns.
  7. Top each with a slice of Cheddar cheese and broil until bubbly.
  8. Place a slice of crispy bacon on each sandwich.
  9. Arrange lettuce leaves and tomato slices on the tops of the buns.
  10. Serve hot, open-faced.
