Ingredients

  • 2 fryers, cut up
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • 1 cube margarine
  • 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 4 tablespoons sherry

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle fryers with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Fry the chicken until brown in one cube of margarine.
  3. Place the fried chicken in a casserole dish.
  4. Brown the sliced mushrooms in a pan.
  5. Add flour, chicken broth, rosemary, and sherry to the mushrooms; stir well.
  6. Pour the mushroom mixture over the chicken in the casserole dish.
  7. Cover and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
