Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Add the egg, buttermilk, corn syrup, and melted butter to the dry ingredients.
  3. Beat all ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Heat a griddle or skillet until hot.
  5. Pour batter onto the hot griddle and cook until golden brown on both sides.
