Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mixed fruit
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons melted oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • pecans

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until light.
  2. Add powdered sugar and melted oleo, then mix in dry ingredients.
  3. Fold in chopped mixed fruit and pecans.
  4. Pour batter into a greased baking pan.
  5. Bake at 325°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Spread with butter and powdered sugar frosting once cooled.
  7. Cut into 1 x 2-inch bars to serve.
