Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onions with tops
  • 1 (8 oz.) package noodles

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles and drain.
  2. Brown ground beef in oil.
  3. Drain excess fat and add tomato sauce to the beef.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, and chopped green pepper; mix well.
  6. Spread half of the cooked noodles in a greased 9 x 13-inch dish.
  7. Cover with the cheese mixture and then layer with remaining noodles.
  8. Spread the cooked meat mixture on top.
  9. Cover and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until fluffy.
