Noodles Lorraine is a rich, cheesy casserole combining egg noodles, crispy bacon, Swiss and Parmesan cheeses, and a hint of nutmeg, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat and cook chopped onion until transparent.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs with salt and nutmeg.
- Add cooked noodles, melted butter and onion, crumbled bacon, diced Swiss cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a 2-quart baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
