Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour ⓘ

- 1 cup butter or margarine ⓘ
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar ⓘ
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar ⓘ
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups rolled oats ⓘ
- 1 (12 oz.) package butterscotch flavored chips ⓘ
- 1 cup (6 oz.) milk chocolate chips ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract, rolled oats, and butterscotch chips. Mix well.
- Turn the mixture into a lightly greased 15 1/4 x 10 1/2-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes or until the center of the bars feels firm.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with milk chocolate chips.
- Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes until chips melt.
- Spread melted chips evenly over the bars.
- Cut into 2-inch squares and serve warm or cool.
