Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  4. Beat in the egg until well combined.
  5. Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
  6. Stir in quick oats and chopped nuts.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  8. Place in the preheated oven for 3 minutes.
  9. Run a knife through the batter to marbleize.
