- Cook bacon until half done; drain excess fat.
- Saute onions with bacon until transparent.
- Add beef and saute until all red is gone.
- Add minced garlic and flour until all flour is absorbed.
- Add tomato puree, Worcestershire sauce, beef base, Tabasco, juniper berries, and beer.
- Stir and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 45 to 60 minutes until meat is tender, or bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour until meat is tender.
