Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1-3 oz can sliced mushrooms
  • 1-10.5 oz can condensed beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 oz uncooked medium egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons snipped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic in a skillet until the meat is browned.
  2. Drain off excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Drain the sliced mushrooms, reserving the liquid.
  4. Add the mushroom liquid, condensed beef broth, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  5. Stir in the uncooked egg noodles, cover, and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until the noodles are tender.
  6. Stir in sour cream and cooked mushrooms, and cook until heated through but do not boil.
  7. Serve topped with snipped parsley.
