Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely minced
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely minced
  • 2 Tbsp. green pepper, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. pimiento, minced

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, paprika, sugar, and milk in a saucepan and cook until thick.
  2. Stir in the beaten egg and vinegar, then cool thoroughly.
  3. Fold in the whipped heavy cream, minced onion, minced celery, minced green pepper, and minced pimiento.
  4. Freeze until firm and serve with vegetable salads or tomatoes.
