Ingredients

  • 1 large package orange jello
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 bunch green onions, tops and all, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix the orange jello, salt, boiling water, and vinegar together in a bowl.
  2. Add mayonnaise to the jello mixture and beat until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix crushed pineapple, cottage cheese, diced celery, green pepper, and sliced green onions.
  4. Add the cooled jello mixture to the vegetable mixture and stir well.
  5. Pour the combined mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with non-stick spray.
  6. Refrigerate until the jello is set before serving.
