A tangy and crunchy cabbage slaw with toasted almonds and green onions, dressed in a sweet and tangy vinaigrette, perfect for light gatherings or as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 pkg. chicken Ramen noodles
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. angel hair coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Mix the vinegar, oil, pepper, salt, sugar, chopped green onions, and the chicken seasoning packet from the Ramen noodles to make the dressing.
  2. Chill the dressing overnight to allow flavors to meld.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the angel hair coleslaw with the slivered almonds.
  4. Pour the chilled dressing over the coleslaw mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
