- Cook ground pork until no pink remains; drain excess fat.
- Stir in shredded carrots, chopped water chestnuts, soy sauce, dry sherry, cornstarch, and grated ginger root.
- Mix the filling well to combine.
- Lay out one wonton wrapper, spoon 1 teaspoon of filling onto the center.
- Brush the edges of the wrapper with water, bring opposite corners together, and pinch to seal.
- Place sealed wontons on a greased cookie sheet.
- Repeat until all filling is used.
- Brush the tops of the wontons with melted margarine.
- Bake in a 375°F oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until the wontons are light brown.
