Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 8 c. water
  • salt to taste
  • 3 c. spaghetti meat sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Make polenta by cooking cornmeal in water; add salt to taste. Grease a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
  2. Spoon cooked polenta into the prepared pan.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to cool and set firm, about 1 hour.
