Pansit (Noodles)

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. rice stick noodles
  • 1 c. boneless chicken strips
  • 1 c. shrimp
  • 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 c. chopped carrots
  • 1 c. green beans, chopped
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1 small, chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles; drain.
  2. Saute with cooking oil the minced garlic, garlic powder and onion.
  3. Add chicken, shrimp and half of the soy sauce.
  4. Mix until cooked.
  5. Add remaining vegetables; cook about 5 minutes.
  6. Add water and noodles.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Serve warm. Serves 8 to 10 persons.
