Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 packages (3 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 large garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves, crumbled
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • French bread, thinly sliced and toasted

Instructions

  1. Beat all ingredients except French bread in a medium bowl until creamy.
  2. Pack into a 2-cup crock or non-metal container; cover tightly.
  3. Refrigerate at least 24 hours, no longer than 2 weeks.
  4. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before serving.
  5. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
  6. Serve with toasted French bread slices.
