Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 1/4 c. regular oats, uncooked
  • 1 c. chopped fresh parsley
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. egg substitute
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • vegetable cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except the catsup and cooking spray, in a large bowl.
  2. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a 9 x 5-inch loaf.
  4. Place the loaf on a rack in a roasting pan coated with cooking spray.
  5. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  6. Spread catsup evenly over the meat loaf.
  7. Bake an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
