Parslied Meat Loaf
A flavorful turkey meat loaf infused with fresh parsley, herbs, and spices, baked to perfection with a sweet catsup glaze—perfect for comforting family dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground turkey ⓘ
- 1 1/4 c. regular oats, uncooked ⓘ
- 1 c. chopped fresh parsley ⓘ
- 3/4 c. chopped onion ⓘ
- 1/4 c. egg substitute
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper ⓘ
- 1 large clove garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper ⓘ
- 1/4 c. catsup ⓘ
- vegetable cooking spray ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients, except the catsup and cooking spray, in a large bowl.
- Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into a 9 x 5-inch loaf.
- Place the loaf on a rack in a roasting pan coated with cooking spray.
- Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Spread catsup evenly over the meat loaf.
- Bake an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
