Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 3/4 cups snipped parsley
  • 3 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup margarine softened
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans deviled ham
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar pimento drained
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Oil a small loaf pan or Tupperware cheese container with lid.
  2. Stir together the chopped pecans and 3 tablespoons of parsley.
  3. Spread the nut and parsley mixture evenly in the bottom of the pan.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, margarine, and milk until smooth.
  5. Spread one-third of the cheese mixture evenly over the nuts in the pan.
  6. Transfer half of the remaining cheese mixture to another bowl.
  7. Stir in the remaining parsley and chopped green onions into this bowl.
  8. Spread this mixture over the cheese layer already in the loaf pan.
  9. Stir the deviled ham, drained pimento, and mustard into the remaining cheese mixture.
  10. Spread this ham mixture over the previous layers in the pan.
  11. Chill the terrine overnight.
  12. Invert the terrine onto a tray or Tupperware lid to serve.
