Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine softened
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Blend well the peanut butter and powdered sugar.
  2. Roll the mixture into 30 (1-inch) balls.
  3. Refrigerate the balls until firm.
  4. Combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda in a bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients well.
  6. In a large bowl, beat the sugar, brown sugar, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and margarine until light and fluffy.
  7. Add the egg and vanilla extract; beat well.
  8. Stir in the dry ingredients until blended.
