Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup canned tomatoes
  • 1 cup canned kidney beans, drained
  • 1 cup corn bread batter

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, canned tomatoes, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Stir in drained kidney beans.
  4. Pour the meat mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Spread the corn bread batter evenly over the meat mixture.
  6. Bake at 425°F for 20 minutes or until the cornbread is golden brown.
