Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb hamburger
  • 1 stick pepperoni sliced or 1/2 package pre-sliced
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese
  • 1 (15 oz) can herb tomato sauce
  • 1 small package spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper chopped
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 cup pasta shells, bow ties, curls, or other pasta

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper; drain excess fat.
  2. Add sliced or pre-sliced pepperoni, herb tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce mix, and canned mushrooms; mix well and heat through.
  3. Cook the pasta until al dente; drain and add to the hamburger mixture.
  4. Heat the mixture until bubbly.
  5. Shred or thinly slice the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  6. Place half of the hamburger mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  7. Sprinkle half of the cheeses over the hamburger mixture.
  8. Repeat with remaining hamburger mixture and cheese.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
