Ingredients

  • 7 c. sliced cucumbers
  • 1 c. sliced onion
  • 1 c. sliced green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Slice and layer cucumbers, onions, and green peppers.
  2. Sprinkle salt and celery seed over the vegetables and let stand for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vinegar to a boiling point.
  4. Pour the hot vinegar over the vegetables and sugar.
  5. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 2 weeks before serving.
