Ingredients

  • 6 serrano or jalapeno chilies, stems and seeds removed
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the serrano or jalapeno chilies, onion, tomatoes, and garlic.
  2. Combine all chopped ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Add chopped cilantro, canola oil, and red wine vinegar to the mixture.
  4. Mix well and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour before serving.
