Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups instant rice
  • 1 1/2 cups beef bouillon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons parsley

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion in butter in a large skillet until tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add instant rice and saute for 3 minutes.
  3. Add beef bouillon and salt.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in sliced almonds and chopped parsley; fluff with a fork.
