Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 pint whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 small can pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. Crush the vanilla wafers into crumbs and spread half of them evenly in a Pyrex dish.
  2. Cream together the margarine and confectioners sugar, then beat in the eggs.
  3. Spread this mixture over the wafer crumbs in the dish.
  4. Whip the cream until stiff, then fold in the drained pineapple and nuts.
  5. Pour the whipped mixture over the layered wafers and cream.
  6. Top with the remaining crushed vanilla wafers.
  7. Refrigerate until set before serving.
