Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
  • 2 (3 3/4 oz.) boxes pistachio instant pudding
  • 2 1/2 cups cold milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, margarine or butter, butter flavoring (if using), and chopped almonds well using a mixer.
  2. Press the mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool before adding the filling.
