Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds tenderized beef round steak
  • 16 ounces can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 12-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Mix flour, oregano, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper on a small plate.
  3. Cut the tenderized beef round steak into 8 pieces.
  4. Dredge the steak pieces in the flour and spice mixture.
  5. Place the coated steak pieces in the prepared baking dish.
