Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb hamburger, browned and drained
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 jar sauerkraut (1 pint), drained
  • 10 lasagne noodles, half cooked
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream of celery and cream of mushroom soups with water.
  2. Spread a very thin layer of the soup mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Layer half of the cooked lasagne noodles over the soup mixture.
  4. Add half of the chopped onion, drained sauerkraut, and cheddar cheese over the noodles.
  5. Repeat with another layer of noodles, followed by browned hamburger, remaining onion, sauerkraut, and cheese.
  6. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the assembled layers.
  7. Cover the pan with foil and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
