Ingredients

  • 1 cup soda crackers
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Mix soda crackers and cold water; let stand for 20 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper to the cracker mixture.
  3. Spread the mixture to 1/2-inch thickness on a cookie sheet and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Cut the chilled mixture into squares, roll in flour, and brown in a skillet.
  5. Place the browned squares in a rectangular casserole dish.
  6. Cover with mushroom soup.
  7. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour.
