Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 lb. pork picnic ham
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix (dry)
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the pork picnic ham thoroughly.
  2. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the meat evenly.
  3. Place the celery stalks, sliced onion, and sliced bell pepper on top of the ham.
  4. Wrap the meat and vegetables tightly with foil, sealing the edges.
  5. Bake in a slow oven at 350°F for 3 to 3½ hours until the pork is well done and tender.
