Ingredients

  • 1 small can mushroom pieces
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 tablespoons chopped green pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
  • 4 tablespoons diced pimiento
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook mushroom pieces, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper in butter until onion and green pepper are tender.
  2. Blend in cream of chicken soup and milk.
  3. Add cooked chicken, diced pimientos, and pepper to the mixture.
  4. Heat slowly, stirring often until hot. Serve in pastry shells, over toast, or over rice.
