Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. sliced pepperoni, chopped
  • 1 can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped onion, chopped green pepper, ground beef, and chopped pepperoni in a skillet.
  2. Cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Return the meat mixture to the skillet.
  4. Add spaghetti sauce and bring to a boil.
  5. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, then drain.
  7. Arrange cooked spaghetti on an ovenproof platter.
  8. Spoon the meat sauce over the spaghetti.
  9. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  10. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 3 to 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  11. Remove from oven.
  12. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  13. Serve immediately.
