Ingredients

  • 1 fryer, cooked, deboned, and cut into small chunks
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3-4 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can condensed cream chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place cooked, deboned chicken chunks in the bottom of a shallow baking dish.
  2. Melt margarine and pour it over the chicken.
  3. Slice hard boiled eggs and layer them over the chicken and margarine mixture.
  4. Mix plain flour, baking powder, and milk to form a batter, then pour over the eggs.
  5. In a saucepan, combine condensed cream chicken soup and chicken broth, bring to a boil.
  6. Pour the hot soup mixture over the layered ingredients in the baking dish.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
