Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped bell pepper in a large skillet or pot.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients: kidney beans, whole kernel corn, tomato sauce, canned tomatoes, chili powder, and sugar.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Simmer on low heat or in a slow cooker for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
