Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup halved ripe olives
  • 4 oz. uncooked noodles
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook and stir ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Stir in the corn (with liquid), tomato sauce, halved ripe olives, water, oregano leaves, salt, and pepper.
  4. Heat the mixture to boiling.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender, about 30 minutes.
