Ingredients
- 1 medium red or green pepper, cut into 1-inch squares ⓘ
- 3 stalks celery, cut into 1-inch squares ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1 tsp. instant beef bouillon
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 medium carrots ⓘ
- 8 whole new potatoes ⓘ
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. water ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 4 lb. boneless beef rump roast ⓘ
- 2 medium onions ⓘ
Instructions
- Place all the prepared vegetables and beef in a large cooking bag.
- Add the tomato sauce, beef bouillon, pepper, salt, flour, and water to the bag.
- Seal the bag securely and toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Cut slits in the top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 3 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.
