Ingredients

  • 1 medium red or green pepper, cut into 1-inch squares
  • 3 stalks celery, cut into 1-inch squares
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. instant beef bouillon
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 medium carrots
  • 8 whole new potatoes
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 lb. boneless beef rump roast
  • 2 medium onions

Instructions

  1. Place all the prepared vegetables and beef in a large cooking bag.
  2. Add the tomato sauce, beef bouillon, pepper, salt, flour, and water to the bag.
  3. Seal the bag securely and toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
  4. Cut slits in the top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 3 hours or until the beef is tender.
  6. Remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.
