Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 ounces sugar
  • 4 ounces raisins
  • 8 ounces flour
  • 3 ounces butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • nutmeg, and cinammon to suit

Instructions

  1. Combine butter and sugar, mix well
  2. Add egg and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, raisins, and spices
  4. Roll into buns
  5. Bake at 350*F till done, about 30 minutes.
