Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. oatmeal
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream and soften the butter, shortening, and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Sift together the flour, soda, and salt.
  4. Add the oatmeal and all other ingredients.
  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F until brown.
