- Sprinkle salt over mixture of tomatoes, celery, onions, peppers, cabbage and cucumbers.
- Let stand overnight, then drain well.
- Cook vinegar, brown sugar, mustard and black pepper until clear, about 1 hour.
- Pour over mixture.
- Put in jars and seal.
