Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 chopped scallions
  • 1 green pepper, chopped and sautéed in butter
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  3. Cover and cook in a 350°F oven for 40 minutes.
  4. Serve topped with chopped tomatoes and basil.
