Ingredients

  • 3 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 2 cups coarsely crumbled day-old bread
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon dried whole sage, crushed

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Stir well to evenly distribute the ingredients.
  3. Spoon the mixture into a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake uncovered at 325°F for 1 hour or until golden brown.
