Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. fat
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup
  • 1 (7 oz.) can salmon, drained
  • 1 cup cooked peas
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 can biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Sauté chopped onion and chopped green pepper in hot fat until the onion is golden.
  3. Blend in salt and flour.
  4. Gradually stir in milk and soup, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  5. Boil for 1 minute.
  6. Add flaked salmon, cooked peas, and lemon juice to the mixture.
  7. Pour the mixture into an 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
  8. Top with biscuits.
  9. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until biscuits are golden.
