Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 3 c. corn bread
  • 4 c. seasoned herb stuffing
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 to 3 c. chicken broth
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage, stirring until brown; drain.
  2. Melt margarine. Add onion and celery; sauté until tender.
  3. Stir in poultry seasoning.
  4. Combine corn bread, seasoned herb stuffing, pecans, sausage, and onion mixture.
  5. Beat eggs and chicken broth and pour over mixture, tossing gently.
  6. Bake at 350° to 400° for 30 minutes.
