Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions
