A savory seafood bake combining shrimp or crab with celery, onion, and cheese, topped with pecans and cracker crumbs, perfect for a hearty, flavorful meal or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced shrimp or crab
  • 2 cups sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together, except half of the chopped pecans, cracker crumbs, and the cheese.
  2. Put the mixture into a baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the top with cracker crumbs and the remaining chopped pecans that have been mixed together.
  4. Top with grated sharp cheese.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 20 minutes.
