Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. low-fat milk
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 c. almonds, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 lb. boneless chicken breast

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a shallow baking pan at 300°.
  2. Remove the pan from the oven and increase the setting to 400°.
  3. Mix the egg and milk in a bowl.
  4. Shake together in a paper bag the flour, almonds, sesame seeds, paprika, and salt.
  5. Dip the chicken in the egg mixture, then shake in the bag to coat with flour.
  6. Lay the chicken in the pan, and turn over to coat with melted butter.
  7. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Turn the pieces over and bake for another 30 minutes.
