Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in pumpkin.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift dry ingredients together.
  5. Beat dry ingredients into wet ingredients until well blended.
  6. Divide batter evenly between 3 greased loaf pans.
  7. Bake in a 325°F oven for 60 minutes.
