Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier sauce, consider using heavy cream instead of light cream or milk. You can also substitute the shrimp with chicken for a different protein option. If you prefer a spicier dish, add some red pepper flakes or jalapeños. For a vegetarian version, replace shrimp with tofu or chickpeas. This dish can also be enhanced with fresh herbs like cilantro.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the shrimp curry hot in the patty shells for a delightful presentation. Pair it with a side of basmati rice or a fresh salad to balance the richness of the dish. You might also consider serving it with naan bread or crusty rolls. This dish pairs beautifully with Indian recipes that feature fragrant spices.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover shrimp curry in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, gently warm it on the stove over low heat, stirring frequently to avoid sticking. You can also microwave it in short intervals, ensuring it's heated evenly without overcooking the shrimp.
