Tips & Substitutions

For a lighter version, consider replacing half the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. If you're using frozen seafood, ensure it's thoroughly thawed and drained before mixing. Experiment with different seasonings or add a splash of lemon juice for brightness. This dish is versatile and can also be served as a filling for lettuce wraps for a fresh twist.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the shrimp, lobster, or crab mold with a side of crisp crackers or fresh vegetable sticks for a delightful contrast. A light salad or a classic coleslaw pairs well, adding crunch to each bite. For a more substantial meal, consider accompanying it with a bowl of New Orleans Seafood Gumbo for a robust flavor experience.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover seafood mold in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, slice individual portions and place them in a microwave-safe dish, covering with a damp paper towel to retain moisture. Heat in short intervals until warmed through, but be careful not to overcook as it may alter the texture.
